I am an Argentinian girl, from Avellaneda, a multicultural and artistic town in Buenos Aires.
I finished my high school studies in Humanities and Social Sciences. Afterwards, I studied Literature at the National University of Buenos Aires for one and a half years until I discovered that my passion is working with the community through Arts and Culture. That's why I changed my career to Cultural Management at the National University of Avellaneda (Buenos Aires, Argentina).
Back then, I specialised in social work, aesthetics and gender fields at University, and started some photography and handmade books and crafts courses. Also, I started to participate in many social and cultural projects and organizations. Not only managing and planning events and activities but also photographing and artistically animating.
Later on, after a break from my activism and volunteering work, I started to build up a consulting space for women victims of gender violence and other social problems with other professionals in the cultural and social work sphere in my hometown.
Thanks to my father, I've been travelling my whole life, and I sincerely love it. After going to Patagonia in Summer of 2017, I realised how important was for me to find a new project abroad. Fortunately, a few months after taking the decision, I got a huge opportunity of coming to Slovakia.
I arrived in October 2017 when I started my one-year volunteering ERASMUS+ project within the program "BROADER"
(Boosting cross-border interRelations to Overcome Animosity and DEvelop human Rights education) in Keric (Čadca, Slovakia). BROADER is aimed at promoting the cooperation between countries of the European Union and Latin America as well as to encourage youth participation and develop their role as promoters of intercultural and mutual understanding. This is focused on those with fewer opportunities.
At the end of the enriching experience of volunteering in KERIC, I found out how much I enjoy the teaching activities and decided to stay and apply to a work residency and become an English and Spanish teacher in Slovakia.
Nevertheless, I continued my volunteering work in Stanica Žilina-Záriečie and Nová synagóga Žilina as a mentor to the new volunteers arriving at the organizations and participated in their many activities due I am into different sorts of arts and all types of learning and sharing with the community.
But my biggest discovery in the last few years is playing the ukulele and singing. I always listened to music, sang and danced different styles and rhythms since I am a kid. I was playing the guitar for a few years but since I found the ukulele I feel it's the perfect musical instrument for me.
I am a vegetarian for 5 years and keep an activist spirit against any kind of injustice while participating in many social events and demonstrations. I am a super open-minded, positive, talkative, and respectful person.
At the moment, I find myself travelling around Europe playing music on the streets and being involved in many cultural and artistic projects.
